Pernod-Ricard is a French company in charge of the creation, production and distribution/sale of wines and spirits. The company was founded in 1975 with the merger of two of the most important brands of aniseed liqueur (pastis) in France, Pernod and Ricard.

During its long history, the company has acquired many other brands and competing companies in the sector to become one of the world’s largest companies in the wine and spirits sector, with over 50 different beverages in its portfolio.

Within a big company like Pernod Ricard there are different sub-brands. My internship was with the prestige brand MMPJ: Martell Cognac, Mumm Champagne, Perrier- Jouët Champagne.

What I did

The main tasks involved researching and analyzing consumer trends to identify relevant insights and opportunities. Based on this understanding, the role contributed to the generation of ideas in collaboration with various stakeholders. It also included the design and development of branding and packaging concepts aligned with strategic objectives. Additionally, support was provided in the implementation phase across three different brands, ensuring consistency and coherence throughout the process.
